Librascope Memories’ Blog #35
Librascope Memories’ Blog #35
All Libravets and Associates,
The next Libravet Reunion is now less than 2 weeks away. Please don't miss it. Call all of your Libravet friends now, and invite them to join you there.
Since time is so short, it would help if you would contact Georgine immediately, by either e-mail geoarcher@netzero.net or telephone (818) 848-5664 to let her know your check ($36 per person) is in the mail.
Also, I wanted to let you know that the www.librascopememories.com web-site was just updated to include:
1. Added a 3 page (PDF) document for the WWII era LC-1 Librascope made for the US Navy Lockheed Vega PV-1 "Ventura" Antisubmarine Patrol Bomber. See the Product Literature section on the Librazettes + page.
2. Added advertisements for (1) Airborne Computers (1960), and (2) Missile Computers (1959). See Photos (Advertisements Album) or the Advertisements section on the Librazettes + page.
3. Added photos for the following products: (1) L107 Memories, and (2) the LC-1 Librascope for the WWII era Lockheed Model 18 (compliments of Dan Englehardt). See the Products Album on the Photos page.
4. Added a 1960 photo of Georgine. See the People Album on the Photos page.
5. Added a photo of an ashtray with a photo of the 1607 Flower St. building. See the Places Album on the Photos page.
6. Added Q&A #10 on the FAQ's page.
7. As soon as it becomes available, I will add a link to a current list of all the Libravets that have signed up for the 2010 Reunion to date. This link will be available on the FAQ's page under Q&A #11. Check back in a day or two.
Finally, if you have an interesting photo(s) or document(s) you would like to share with other Libravets on our web-site, bring them to the Reunion and I will try to add them on the next update.
See you on the 23rd,
Carl
